Welcome to the RAOB  East Cleveland Provincial Grand Lodge Web Site 

The East Cleveland Province is a small province of 5 lodges.  Geographically though we cover a large area of the North Yorkshire Moors from the Historic Port and town of Whitby, to the village of Boosebeck and the small townsip of Skelton close to the border with the Redcar Povince.

We are fortunate in that the Black Horse Lodge owns a reasonable size room in the centre of Whitby which has recently been renovated and provides splendid accomodation for three lodges the PGL and ROH assembly.   Fitted with it's own bar it is also used to host small social and fund raising functions. 

The money to purchase the room was left to the Black Horse Lodge by the late Bro Schumm and he room has been dedicted to his name.

It is situated in Forestors Yard, which is the second alley on the right as you walk along the cobbles of church street making your way to the famous 199 church stairs.
